Screenshot Clock does not need your screenshots to leave your Mac.

The utility is built for a narrow local job: rename screenshot filenames so they sort more clearly. It does not add accounts, upload flows, cloud libraries, AI descriptions, OCR, or sharing.

Screenshot Clock visual with 24-hour filenames and local Mac workflow cues.

Local

No screenshot uploads.

The helper works with local screenshot filenames and does not need an account or cloud service.

Inspectable

Source links stay public.

The installer and Python helper are linked so users can inspect the files before running the command.

Limited

One narrow job.

Screenshot Clock does not annotate, OCR, describe, upload, share, or manage screenshots.

Boundary

Free and transparent does not mean over-claiming.

Screenshot Clock is not Apple-signed, notarized, or App Store distributed. It is a small KFS utility with public source links and a narrow local purpose. That honesty is part of the trust model.
