DaVinci Resolve music-video sync
Sync music videos inside Resolve.
Select the master song and your camera clips. KFS Music Sync listens to scratch audio, finds the playback matches, and builds synced Resolve timelines so the creative edit can start sooner.
Resolve script. Real clips. Generated timelines.
This panel is a visual summary of an actual Resolve run: project metadata out, audio analysis through the KFS engine, TSV placements back into Resolve.
Product proof
Built from a real music-video post problem, not a generic sync promise.
Music videos create dozens of partial takes, restarts, repeated song sections and camera clips with messy scratch audio. KFS Music Sync is being built around that exact Resolve workflow: find the music inside the camera audio, place clips where they belong, and keep uncertain material visible for the editor.

How it works
Select the song and clips.
Work from the Resolve Media Pool. Pick the master music track and the performance clips you want analyzed.
Run the script from Resolve.
Music Sync opens from Workspace > Scripts. The planned customer build should not require Python, Homebrew or terminal work.
Review generated timelines.
Confident matches go to the synced timeline. Uncertain clips stay reviewable instead of disappearing into a black box.
Progress the editor can understand
- Preparing selected clips
- Reading the song
- Listening to each camera clip
- Checking and finalizing matches
- Building Resolve timelines
Add-on module
Multi-Up turns synced clips into reviewable layouts.
The first add-on direction is KFS Music Sync Multi-Up: a Resolve script that takes a synced Music Sync timeline and creates stable multi-camera review layouts for performance coverage, select review and client-friendly inspection.

Known limits
Weak scratch audio, clipped camera audio, silent clips and loud set noise can reduce confidence. The editor stays in control.
Checkout path
Buy buttons should not go live until delivery is real.
The first public path can be Ko-fi-style digital delivery or Stripe Checkout. Either way, purchase, receipt, platform-specific download, support email and refund language need to be tested end to end.
